this is the last thing

I should be doing right now. I should be working on a spec, but I'm distracted.

It's the nicest day of the year so far and I woke up with a sore throat. UGH allergies maybe?

And while I'm rambling about nothing I should say that every day when I drive to work I have to re-learn the clutch on my car. Well not re-learn how to drive a standard, I've been doing that for years, but learn where exactly my clutch catches. Why? Because every day I wear a different pair of shoes. Some are flats, some wedges, some platforms, some just normal heels and everything in between. This means the distance between my foot and the pedal is different every day. Yesterday I had flats, today I have platform sandals - so it felt weird when I first got in the car and had to adjust to the different shoes. Maybe I should just have a pair of driving shoes that I leave in my car so I know the exact distance between my foot and the pedal all the time? LOL

You need to drive barefoot to eliminate this problem.

the pedals get too hot.

What? How is that possible? They're protected from the sun by the console and shielded from the engine too. What's getting hot?

Or are you driving the flintstone family car now or something?

LMAO I feel like they get hot, and I find it really difficult to drive barefoot (maybe I have small feet or something?)

*sigh*

OK, get some driving moccasins then. You can get them from some pretty fashionable makers if you like. Of course, not much point in wearing driving shoes if you're not driving something totally sweet that costs at least your current yearly salary (so I'd imagine)

OR, you can just wear a pair of sneakers (do you even own any?)

That way you can also save outside wear and tear on your shoes that cost more than my mortgage payment and put them on to wear in the low-impact, carpeted office environment.

ha ha ha

Car Shoe (the makers of my handbag) are apparently famous for their racing moccasins... but you are right. Why have $300 driving shoes in my hooptie? I need a new car!

Beautiful, practical, and fast. You must let me drive it on the weekends, however...

I love it when he says something about not a lot of leg room, so to take your kids to school they have to be thin, but that you would have that since you have a porche 911 so you'd have a thin wife ha ha ha

Well along those same lines: you have a Porsche 911, so of course that means you'd also have a Range Rover Sport to drive during the winter.

oh right of course! what was I thinking???
