David Cook was totally amazing tonight. He sang this rock version of Michael Jackson's Billy Jean. It was kind of slow, but really rocking. It was one of the best cover songs I've ever heard. Now THAT's a song I'd buy. It was totally an original version - so different from the original.

You should know that the cover wasn't original, but done by Chris Cornell of Audioslave last year
ahh interesting.
Well I guess I'm going to have to check out the Audioslave version.
I just listened to the Audioslave version - it's similar, but not exact, but it sounds like they definitely influenced his performance. So not as original as I had thought. Still good though.
