WTF?

So I joined this site because they supposedly have great discounts on designer clothing and shoes. They open the boutique for 2 days and each day there is a new boutique.

Which is cool... but um WTF is up with this shoe collection? I love Marc Jacobs shoes...

but I do NOT like these.

Ugg

I'm not a fan. I think I'm in the minority though.

It seems everyone has a pair of these boots. I guess they are probably warm and comfortable, but I just can't do it.

And now they are making them in silver. It looks like a moon boot.

UGG

How do you Ruin...

A perfectly cute stilleto? You add a rugged giant ugly sole to it.

What is up with the sole on this Yves Saint Laurent shoe? Prior to that manly work boot sole - these would have been super cute shoes for a dressy occasion. Now they just look horsey. Plus they are all around $800 (give or take a little). I'm sorry but I'm not paying $800 for a big rubber soled shoe. I don't think I'd pay $50. I just don't like the sole. Waste of a cute shoe.

Why Manolo, why?

Oh my.

I love Manolo Blahnik normally. In fact the top pair of shoes (Campari) I own in the black patent leather and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them.

But I DON'T love them in Camouflage on these Campari Suede Mary Janes. Camo and high heel shouldn't mix!

And Camo and sparkly stuff REALLY shouldn't mix - like these Sedarby Camo-Print d'Orsay have done!!! BTW there are tons of cute prints - like snakeskin on the d'Orsay shoe already. Why Camo?? Why? Why?

Why would someone

pay $750 for these Bottega Veneta sandals? First, I'm not a huge fan of flats (a girl likes to look tall) but second, they are just plain ugly looking - even if the leather is fabulous.

Maybe these were used on the set of Rome? Going to a toga party? These are the shoes for you...

Just when I thought...

Ugg couldn't possibly make an 'ugg'lier shoe - they surprise me again with the "Fluffie Thongs" at Saks.

WHAT is this monstrosity?

Designer footwear for Sherpas in the summer? Who wants to wear a carpet on their flip flop? Not to mention, wouldn't this be kind of hot in the summer? But regardless - they are just plain vile. um yes I'll take the flip flops that look like fozzy bear... not.

Why?

These men's spring collection Gucci's are just plain ugly. And seriously what guy would wear these shoes at all? I don't know any guy that would wear them. And who wants to pay $600 for basically leather chucks?

Are you Kidding Me?

Are people actually able to walk in these? Oh and while I'm at it... I'm all set with the color too.

Style.com has them in their "LookBook" with no designer information or where to buy. Not that I would buy these, but shouldn't they give that kind of info? It's someone's Spring 2008 Ready to Wear Collection, I just don't know whose.

The Gladiator Sandal Trend Needs to Go Away

It's too much.

First: there are just too many laces - I like laces, but these are extreme. It looks like too much work to put on my shoes - and really I will suffer for my shoes. I've seen some pairs that don't have quite so many and I like those.

Second: all the pairs I've seen so far are flats. I don't like flats - I am far too short - I need the lift.

If designers are going to force me into a sandal - at least give me a heel to work with.

So here is a pair by Michael Kors - and they just don't do it for me. They are too flat, and seriously they look so blah. Did they dig them up? Perhaps Jesus lent them his? These may be one of the ugliest pairs of shoes I've ever seen.

Cleopatra and Caesar together again?? What are these Ferragamo's? I suppose they aren't really gladiator with the ruffle thing going on, but it reminds me of them... Strange shoe.

here's a super ugly pair for you:

and a similar pair in the flesh on Mary-Kate Olsen.

UGGH - Really?

I have to first start by saying: I never got the UGG boot thing. I don't like them. They look like boots sherpas should be wearing to climb everest - not out and about on the town.

Second thing: I don't really get Juicy couture. I haven't seen a handbag of theirs that I've liked. I'm not interested in lettering across my ass, so I haven't found any of their clothes to my taste. I *have* seen a few cute pairs of shoes by Juicy (namely a pair of cute patent mary janes).

But now.. I just don't get these. This Juicy boot is not ghetto fabulous like their other stuff with all kinds of gold bling.... It's pink knit UGGs.

UGH - That is what I have to say about these:

Who are these made for? 5 year olds? Why do I want a pom pom hanging off a $300 boot? and really if I am paying for a $300 boot I want it to look cuter than the wool hats and mittens my nana knitted for me when I was a kid. and it's like a mary jane with a wool sock! It's strange.

Now for the super cute mary janes, for $350 I want that gold thingy to not be permanently attached, but otherwise a nice looking shoe:
