According to Boston.com - Ellis Hobbs was playing injured during the Superbowl. He had a shoulder injury he sustained in week 9 against the Colts, and a groin injury from the first meeting with the Giants. They say he had surgery on his shoulder last week, but should be recovered by the beginning of training camp.
Wonder how much the injury affected his ability to cover Burress in the game winning touchdown?
